You don’t always have to drink your favorite tea hot. In fact, we think that some of our favorite teas taste better cold. The easiest way to make the best batch of iced tea is to cold brew your tea. Cold brewing allows for your tea leaves to slowly unfurl and extracts complex flavors without letting your tea get bitter from potential overstepping. It also may be the most fail-proof way to brew tea and with our new Tall Brew Pots, we broke down the steps to getting the best cold steep: Leaves, water, fridge, strain.

Use our Tall Brew Pot for the easiest, fail-proof cold brew vessel.

A Gaiwan is beautiful ancient design from the Tang Dynasty. The vessel comprises of three sections each with a meaning in Chinese culture: Saucer (Earth), Cup (People), and Lid (Heaven). The harmonious balance of the three sections helps with heat retention, avoiding spill, and ease of brewing. A Gaiwan is an excellent solution for individual brewing and also group endeavors.

Matcha is packed with vitamins and antioxidants. Because it is powdered, the tea is not steeped like a normal tea, but infused and consumed directly. Matcha traces its origins to Japan where the tea is used for drinking and in cooking. Our organic ceremonial grade matcha is from the Nishio region of Japan. Because you are literally drinking the tea leaf, matcha is a much richer cup than regular tea. Enjoy this matcha on its own or as a latte with milk and sugar.

To make matcha you'll need access to hot water, a matcha whisk, matcha bowl and of course matcha!
